- University educated
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of the Indonesia advertising market is essential
- Good knowledge, contact and working experience with major local media publisher
- Outstanding working experience with media agencies
- Experience in online/offline marketing with proven experience in brand and result driven marketing
Skills/Qualities:
- Excellent analytical skills. Strong written & communication skills also a must
- Must be results driven and able to develop and implement practical (& quick) decisions
- Well-organised, ability to multi task and prioritise key projects. Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment is key
- Strong negotiation skills required with an eye for detail in the structure of all deals
- Good all-round marketing skills and understanding/experience of Indonesia media markets
- Ability to function as a self-starter with little hand-holding and an emphasis on getting things done
Job description: The candidate will act as Country Manager for Indonesia and be responsible for all marketing activities in Indonesia. That includes:
- Develop strategic plans for the development of acquisition marketing activities across the territories
- Be responsible for turnover, margin and profit targets in Indonesia
- Capitalize on business opportunities as they arise, seeking to aggressively grow market share
- Define and implement the marketing and commercial strategy for the business, raising brand awareness and driving improved acquisition and retention of customers
- Develop, structure & lead commercial relationships with 3rd parties at the local level, in particular large media groups
- To create promotional opportunities for the company
- Co-ordinate all activities, policies and procedures with other parts of the organisation including the legal, technology, creative, affiliate, PR & retention teams
- Manage budgets for territory and oversee the local media agency where appropriate
- Work closely with specialists within the offline and online marketing team including media and creative agencies to optimise the marketing mix
- Grow, manage and motivate a local team to ensure they deliver on key business goals
